A helpful guide in choosing the correct size Torch heater for your sauna

Choosing the right size sauna heater doesn’t need to be complicated. For Torch gas sauna heaters, the decision comes down to one simple measurement: the size of your sauna hot room in cubic feet (do not include the dressing room if you have one).
Step 1: Measure Your Sauna Steam Room
Measure the length × width × height of your sauna (in feet), then multiply the numbers together to get the total cubic feet.
Example:
8 ft × 7 ft × 8 ft = 448 cubic feet
Step 2: Choose Your Heater
Choose the TS-60
if your sauna area is under 500 cubic feet
Choose the TS-80
if your sauna area is over 500 cubic feet
That’s it. For most saunas, this sizing works well and keeps things simple.
What If You’re Not Sure?
If your sauna is close to 500 cubic feet, or you’re unsure which model to choose, give us a call. We’re always happy to help you double-check and make sure you get the right heater.
Very Large Saunas
If your sauna is much larger than 500 cubic feet, a single heater may not be enough. In some cases, adding a second stove is the best solution for even heat and good performance.
